Reading Week 1 Term 3
Today we got given a novel for the whole of term 3. The book is called Night vision. Before I read the book I have to answer some question here they are.

- Looking at the cover, what do you predict this book might be about?
Someone who has night vision
- After reading the back, what additional information do you have about the story?
The character is a girl. Her family owns a farm and they can't afford it. She has night vision goggles. She might steal money from a criminal. She can't be in the sunlight
- What genre (type) of story do you think this is? ex) romance, thriller etc. Why do you think that? What clues can you see?
I think it is a thriller because she is only awake at night
because she has a condition. She also has found a criminal.
- Personal comment: does this book sound interesting to you?Yes because she has a pair of night vision goggles
- What are your thoughts on completing a novel study?I think this will be a great book.

In our group the others drew the Prime minister like Jacinda Arden but I just did random
What is a gender stereotype? A gender stereotype is someone that thinks certain genders that has to do or like certain things.
I don't think jobs have certain stereotypes.
I don't think different aged people will draw the same things because their influence is different.
