Today we had to make something to send to the all blacks

C.I.P

Today for C.I.P we are working on wellbeing. Our project was to send a letter to someone we care about. I wrote to my teacher Miss Birtch. Here is my letter:

Miss Birtch 

Dear Miss Birtch. I am writing a letter today to talk about how you are a great teacher. One reason you are a great teacher is you always help out someone if they need help. You give us really interesting work like our reading right now. Another great reason is when we had the end of term one party. It was a really good party. You also give out heaps of stamps. I like how you have the prize box and give out the stars and then they get a prize.

That is all I can think of right now. Thank you for being a great teacher.

C.I.P

This week for C.I.P we are on a mufti day. Our mufti is for kids can. The theme for this is rainbow. Radical Rainbow.The mufti day is on August the 8th.

Our idea was radical rainbow. Luckily we won and this was the theme. We came up with this name because it sounded cool.

Kids can donate to kids without the basic. They have donated over 27 million food items, 170 thousand pairs of shoes, over 175 thousand rain coats, over 700 thousand health products and over 341 thousand pairs of socks. They also donated to 741 schools

This is my poster to promote the mufti day.

Kindness

Today I got given a task to make a kindness animation based on this video and post it on my blog. Here it is. Also I did this special job and I had to collect colouring in competitions from different schools. 

Needs Vs Wants

This week for C.I.P we needed to do a needs vs wants poster. Here is my work.

C.I.P Week 8

Today we had to watch a video about mindful colouring.

We also had to make a colouring competition. We are doing this

for mindful art.

Some of the things we were talking about was. How many different

colouring competitions do we need to make? Who are these for? Is

their any different age groups for this.

I think to display this we should put the colouring in competition on

our blogs then you have to print it out. I think once your done you

send it to Hornby High school.

Kindness

Today for C.I.P we had to describe this video and say the main aspect.





In the video there was a girl who asked her grandma if she could buy a cake for her grandpas birthday. But they couldn't and they left it at the counter. Then a man came and remembered when he was a child he asked if he could have a cake and his mum said no. Then a man bought the cake gave it to him and gave him a note. So he bought the cake for the girl. He gave her a not that. The grandma asked his name and said I am another man in the line.



The message is be kind to people. If someone does something nice to you. You have to do something nice to someone else.

Pink Shirt Day

For pink shirt day we had to answer some questions.

What sort of things makes a good friend? Someone who stands up for you and someone you helps you out.

What do people that care about us do? They help us and be nice.

How do you know they have got your back? They be nice and help you when you are getting bullied.

What don't they do? Bully you and be mean.

What do you thing being an out stander is? Being really good and helping

How did you think the pink shirt boys show that they are friends? They got everyone to were pink shirts and stand up for bullying.

Art Project

The project is a sculpture but an art project. We are doing to clean up our school and make something for our community. Were going to need a lot rubbish to make these sculptures because there is heaps of rubbish around school and they will look better if they are bigger. It could have many colours because of the different pieces of rubbish. I would like to create trees.
