P.E Week 5

This week we started P.E hurumanu for the second. The first thing we did was the fitness test. We started on Monday and did 4 and we did the the beep test today. Here are my results.

Vertical Jump
    M1:2.
     M2: 2.2

Sit and Reach: 10cm Sit Ups: 2 Grip Test: 0 Beep Test: 2.8

The hardest thing was the beep test. Running was my weak point. We record this to see what my fitness results are next time and see if I have improved.

I worked successfully with others because I encouraged people when they were struggling and that helped them out.

P.E Recap

For P.E we have played 7 games. (That I can remember) The first one was banana tag(FFA). The second one was Benchball (teams of seven).  Then long kick ball (Teams of twenty eight) Multi ball (Teams of twenty eight) The last one was Ki O Rahi Remix (teams of seven). They all led up to
Ki O Rahi. This is a game in a circular field with to teams. Here are some basic rules that I got off google.

Played for 4 quarters or 2 halves of a set time, teams alternate roles of Kīoma and Taniwha at half or quarter time. Kīoma score by touching Pou/s with the Kī (for potential points) then running the Kī through Te Roto and placing it down in Pawero to convert pou touches into points.

Those are some of the basic rules. Here is a photo of our team for Ki O Rahi normal and remix. We are called the Dragons.

PE Week 10

This week for Hurumanu we played two main games one was bench ball and the other one was long kick ball. Long kick ball is a game like baseball. In the game there a kicker team and a fielder team. If you are in the fielder team you have to try and catch the ball when the kicker kicks it and throw the ball at the kicker while they are running. In the game bench ball there is two teams and both have have to get your team on a bench.
