Hello Emma my name is Cody I am a year 8 at Hornby High School. My favourite subject is science. I am looking forward to the summer learning journey.
I think the summer learning journey was a great idea because it promotes learning through prizes and fun tasks. I registered because I do not want to go through the summer slide.

Thank you for introducing yourself to us. One of my favourite things about working on the Summer Learning Journey is getting to know a little bit about the students who participate. Science is a great subject - I used to enjoy that one when I was at school too. Do you do a lot of science in your class?
So there are a lot of people who work on the Summer Learning Journey programme to get it up and running for all of the different schools each year but the person who originally came up with the idea is called Rachel. She sometimes comments on students blogs so watch out for her name. :)
