When we have a reliever.

Today with our reviler I worked on my three comments. Also I worked on one of my reading bingo tasks.

When we guest in our class we should always follow the rules. We should listen to the teacher and what ever they say.

Next time we should work harder. We should get work done faster.

Science Filter

Aim: To make a filtration plant using household materials.

Water Filtration Plant

What is filtration?

Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass.

Examples are:

  1.  Kidneys
  2. tea bag
  3.  pool
  4. coffee plunger

Materials

1.bottle split
2. pebbles
3. dirty water
4. filtration paper
5.sand
6. scissors

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )

Step 1

Cut the bottle in half

Step 2

Put the top half upside down and into the bottom

STEP 3

Add layers of pebbles sand and filter paper

STEP 4

Get 1 cup of dirty water

STEP 5

Pour dirty water into top half

Home Reaction Experiment

This is about the experiment we did in week 2.

Goal: We as a class had to make a reaction (Fizz)
Materials:  2 Cups, Measuring cup, Baking soda, Tray and vinegar
First get 2 cups and put vinegar in and put baking soda in the other cup. Then put baking soda in the cup and watch it fizz and foam. Then watch it overflow and disintegrate. Then you pour the vinegar into the other one. Watch it fizz and foam then disintegrated. If you do this at home try doing both and record your findings.

AIM: DESIGN AN EXPERIMENT THAT TESTS THE AMOUNT OF SALT THAT MUST BE IN WATER BEFORE IT WILL NOT FREEZE WHEN LEFT OVERNIGHT IN THE FREEZER.

When we design an experiment there are some important questions that we must answer first. This is part of the planning stage and will help to give us some ideas.

Record these answers on your blog.

The Plan.

Task 1; Read the question carefully and write the answer to these questions.

  1. What do we need to find out?\
how much salt to add to water without it freezing
2.How will we find it out?
we will search it up

3.How will we record what we find?
ruler

4.What equipment do we need for the experiment?
water,salt and a glass

5.How long will it take?

12 hour

The Procedure

Task 2: What are the steps that you will take to make the experiment?

List them in 6 steps.

Step 1; put salt in a glass
Step 2: measure salt
Step 3: fill glass with water
Step 4: put it in the freezer for 12 hours
Step 5: pull out of freezer
Step 6: done

The Process

Task 3: Draw on a piece of A4 paper the 6 steps that you will use to test the amount of salt in water before freezing. When we are making drawings in science  it needs to be labelled clearly, kept tidy and named. Once you have completed the drawing it must be photographed and uploaded to your blog.

In your drawing you will use:
  1. Beakers
  2. Water
  3. Measuring spoons or cups
  4. Salt

Freeze Frames

Freeze Frames
Today we did Freeze Frames. The way we do a freeze frame is we pretend to do something then we counted to three then froze. We were pretending we were at the beach and we were digging, and it was about our physical well being.
