What is a Wetland?

Definition: A saturated land 

Five different kinds of Wetlands in NZ


  1. Lakes - A large area of water surrounded by land
  2. Dune - A mound or ridge of sand
  3. Bog - Ground that is to weak to hold heavy weight 
  4. Swamp -  an area of waterlogged ground
  5. Mangroves -  A swamp tree

2. Helping wetland so they can help us.
